Now this was a new one for me, but I think it is a cute idea, so I will give it a whirl. ๐Ÿ™‚ Amber at Homeschooling Diva tagged/tipped me for this one and I hope I don’t flub it.

The concept is to heap praise and/or blogging tips on 3 unsuspecting folks on the first of the month. Being that it is quickly approaching midnight on the East coast, I best make it snappy.

1) Redheaded Daughter – My west coast friend that has a very sweet spirit, a love for things beautiful and simple and I must say the most adorable little redheaded daughter. I like your desire to create beauty and to become a domestic diva. ๐Ÿ™‚

2) Skip to My Lou – An incredible craft talent with a generous heart for family and friends. I love reading your blog and you inspire me to further explore my creativity.

3) Mother Crone’s Homeschool – You encourage me in my homeschooling journey by your desire to give your children the best and to follow their lead and the zest in which you delve into their suggestions and plot the course. You look for and respect their feedback and as a family you guys sound like you have a blast. I am thankful to have found your blog and to glean from your wisdom.

Being that this is my first time doing this, please do not feel that you have to blogtip others unless you want to being that we all could use some encouragement and you never know how your words might bless others. Keep blogging!

P.S. Lest any of you get confused, I separate my homeschooling blog (this one) from my other one – Southern Girl Musings. ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. You are too sweet! Your kind words warm my heart and make me feel so good! I truly appreciate you taking your time to read my blog! I am a stay at home mom of three (14, 10, 2) with a degree in Art Education. This blog has been such a wonderful place to share all those ideas that flood my brain. In some way it gives life and meaning to those ideas. It is so good to know that those ideas are read and more importantly appreciated. It makes it so rewarding for me. I have only done this since January and there is sooooo much I want to do with this blogging thing! I am constantly frustrated that my technical ability on the computer does not keep up with my ideas. You made my day today. Maybe they should call it blogblessing instead of blogtipping. Thanks again!

Hey maybe we will start a new trend of blogblessing. ๐Ÿ™‚ I started blogging in Jan/Feb and like you it was a way to share what goes on in my head (coherent and incoherent). I am glad to be used to be a blessing or as my favorite closing reads – be blessed and be a blessing. We all need more of that, IMO. Take care!

  2. Okay. You did it again. I feel like God just sent down a big plate of grace and placed it on my dining room table for me to munch on as needed!
I sure do enjoy getting a little peek into your life and am encouraged by how you approach & struggle through your joys and difficulties with such a great sense of humor and always an eye on our sweet Savior.
That, and you have the most adorable little ones! Those pictures of your children playing golf are so so cute – my son, Matt (4), and I have looked at them a number of times (he has been trying to convince us that he will be the next Tiger Woods too) and ood and ahd. Absolutely precious. (Iโ€™m such a wimp. We caved and tracked down a mini golf set for Matt and they are playing with it right now in the backyard!)
Iโ€™m with Cindyโ€ฆ coming from you, it really is a blogblessing!

Hee hee…Little boys make us mommies quite wimpy…it is okay. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for the encouragement and it is truly a blessing to know that others are encouraged by the snippets of my little life as I am encouraged by theirs. Continue to be blessed!!

  3. You are a treasure, dear! Thank you for such kind words. Sometimes I worry that I talk too much about our family and I am missing the bus on reaching others. It is so amazing to me how I am able to share with others and how we can help each other through the Blogiverse!

  4. Oh, my goodness! Your daughter’s story made me tear up. “Butterflies, I love you. Please land on my finger.” I was so hoping for her!!!!!! So sweet. I’m glad she had her dream fulfilled. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks! I was so thankful for that one trying to escape butterfly because he is what slowed all of us from leaving before the attainment of her lifetime goal. ๐Ÿ™‚
